Identity Therapy

Individual Therapy

We work primarily with adults who are 18 and older on mental health struggles ranging from emotional regulation, burnout, stress, self-worth, family and relationship conflicts, emotional and physical abuse, body image, and career-related issues to questions around identity, gender, sexuality, as well as other queer and trans specific challenges.

What to expect?

Our approach primarily focuses on the use of PCT (person-centred therapy) which involves insight oriented discussions with an emphasis on the client's subjective experiences. Other approaches used are SFBT with goals and steps towards improvement, and CBT wherein we discuss certain thought and behaviour patterns and work through them.

Disclaimer
As a counselling psychologist I do not work with clients experiencing clinical challenges, diagnosed disorders, or self-harm/suicidal tendencies as I would not be the right fit to work with you through those specific challenges. I do not diagnose or come up with treatment plans for any mental illnesses.

Please reach out to a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist for the above. Please refer to the FAQ section for more information on the counselling structure and process.
